Creative. Just make sure you have a downey ball. When I hung our clothes to dry after ours broke, A. it took 3 days to dry and B. they came out stiff.

This being Utah, took 1/2 day to dry, and I had used fabric softener in the wash, and the sheets smelled fresh and clean--so I am going to wash our other clothes today.

As if laundry isn't enough of a chore... at least you have a new washer that works, otherwise you'd have to break out the washerboard and lye soap and heat the water over a fire in the backyard. Yuck.

That is the PITS. I swear every time I put another load in either washer or dryer, I think to myself, "Come on, Baby, give me one more time..."

Well, Allie, at least I didn't have to freeze dry our clothes outside......AND our dryer is more than 20 years old!!! That is a lot of loads of laundry that it has dried. Guess I can't complain!
