Liberty Land!

Sara and Andrew took me with them to Liberty Land.  We had a fun/funny day.  It is just re-opening with new owners, and so you would go find someone and say, "I want to ride the go carts, and they would let you ride.......then you would say, how about the airplanes.......and they would follow you over there to let you ride the airplanes.  It was a very fun day.  The mini golf range was really a fun one.  We had a great time.  Elisabeth was very hot, so we gave her my hat to wear.  (Turned out she actually had a fever....)
Next time we'll get to ride the bumper boats, too!

Kristen's Birthday Party!

It is not too comfy sleeping in a car seat.......On the way to Logan for Kristen's Birthday, but Elijah didn't seem to mind!!
Joshua and Grandpa had a great time playing kickball in the parking lot.
Happy 21st Birthday Kristen!!
Sara and Elijah enjoy the festivities!!
Grandpa laughed his head off when Kristen blorked lotion on her nose as she was smelling it!
Kristen was a good sport and let us all laugh at her.......!  She looked so pretty.
Alex is a good husband, trying to make everything a surprise and very fun for his cute bride.
Don't ask me why this is sideways........Anyway, Alex's mom, dad and sister came up to celebrate, too!
Sara and Kids watch Kristen as she plays with the Wii.
Kristen being a bird bouncing and flying from place to place on the Wii.  It was funny to watch.  She made us all laugh!
Grandpa and Joshua playing ball indoors.
Joshua and Grandma Jo enjoying their lunches.
This is sideways, too????  Anyway, Here is grandpa with his good food.......!!!
Happy Birthday Kristen!!

Camping!

I was sad to have forgotten my camera for our little camping trip. Since the camping trip started differently than expected (with a 5:30 am phone call saying, "Mom, I'm taking Michael to the hospital, can you please come?")---rather than a leisurely wake up and time to think and pack----I guess I can be forgiven for the 'forgotten camera'.
Anyway.....Michael is fine:  it was a kidney stone.  What he said was, "All that pain and a trip to the hospital, and all I get is a bill..... [i.e., no baby to bring home]"  So true!

Here are things I would have taken a picture of:
Their little dog, Zippy--nose to nose with his folks BIG dog.  It was pretty cute.
Zippy chasing Michael's aunt's dog around the camp spot.  It was funny!
Cade and Brennan catching each other with their butterfly nets.
Cade, Brennan and EmmaRay with their bubble 'guns'.
Dad, Kristen and Alex catching fish.
The back side of little boys 'watering' the bushes.  [It was pretty cute, really.]
Annie and EmmaRay taking a well deserved nap.
Everyone eating very sticky s'mores.
People roasting hot dogs.
Kristen, Alex and I playing cards.
Cade and Brennan riding the 4 wheelers.  (Looks fun.....I wish I had a turn!)

So, picture that in your mind--and it will have been a very nice camping blog!!
P.S.  I got sunburned.
