This and that.

Marie and Tessa swinging

A quilt I made for a lady in our ward that had a new baby.

Brennan 'hooking' his Grandpa Rigby

Cade's Hook

This is about as messy as EmmaRay got with her birthday cake. Cute cake, she was just full, and tired. Michael stuck her hand in it and she tried to shake off the frosting. It made her cry!

Ok Annie.......I did it!

The first Three people to comment on this post will get something made by me! My choice--but just for you. [Since Annie started this, and is a much more 'better' maker than me........well, if you live close you get something like cinnamon rolls, if you live far......hmmmm, I'll have to think of something fun]
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done this year
4. You will have no clue what it is going to be.
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog. The first 3 people to do so and leave a comment telling me you did, will win a marvelous homemade gift by me! Let the games begin!! Oh, and I have to be able to contact you with mailing information!!! I promise it will be something good!

Sometimes it's funny instead of boring........

Typing out customer feedback can have funny moments:
My favorites so far:
intimated when they meant intermittent
intravenous cable [The way a couch potato gets his television???]
one person said, "So, that's my prophylactic response." Okay then........
And one person pronounced applicable 'apple table'
But my favorite was shouted:
"I just have TWO words to say to you, SHAME ON YOU!"

It was too short, and very fun!!!

Lisa in front of the Thornbrue 'river and pond' (frozen) the morning we left to come home.

It's very fun to have daddy push you.

Grace

Allie fixing us delicious meals.

Grace really loved her grandpa!

Cute Marie getting ready to sidewalk chalk.

Ben turned off all the lights, so we were talking with the beam of one little flashlight! Powerful if it was shining directly in your eyes!!!

Cute Grace. She can be loud, but she seemed more like a silent little shadow just wandering around playing. So cute!

Everyone out for some swinging fun!
Tessa's ready for the very slippery slide

There goes Ben down the slide.

It's serious work to ride the green rocket

Two little Pixie's getting ready to go down the slide

Well...

Well, I only lost the after mentioned game by 4 points, and dad and I had nearly 500 points each, so it was a good game.
Help me look into this Treaty that the US is thinking of signing with the UN. It is really, really scary. It has everything to do with the decline of the family. It is the treaty on the Rights of the Child or CRC. It, basically, says that the government would have authority to counter act any decision made for or on behalf of a child by a parent. Really scary stuff........
I have looked on the internet, and have found that it is real as far as I can tell. I just don't have any clue as to how to fight the UN. I can't really write my congressman, can I? Anyway........., does writing your congressman really do any good?

Whew!

I will still lose, because I always lose, but I was happy because dad used all 7 letters in Scrabble, and I came back next turn, using only 5 letters, but I got 98 points!! That was a good turn~!!! He's still winning, of course, but at least it is close.
Wow, since I have been typing all week 5 1/2 hours per day, OUCH, it hurts to type. I think I will quit. Love ya.
