Huh?

I was looking at our ward list, and there is a family that has two girls and two boys.  The girls names start with K and the boys with D, which is okay.........but the girls names are Kayla and Kaila.  The boys are Dallan and Dylan.   How do you even pronounce them differently?  It's hard enough to call your kids by their names when they are Lisa, James, Merilee, Sara, Angela and Kristen!!
There are lots of interesting names in our ward:  Saylor Blue (first and middle names)
The family of Haley, Hunter, Haidyn, Hannah, Hadlee and Hudson.
Another family:  Payton, Pyper, Kazden, Kyler and Quincey Taryn
Then there is a lady, Rose, whose middle name is Kau'pualokekawahineikahanuopanineke
Or this family:  Austin, Athena, (well, at least those two sound familiar!), Arwen and Aiden
Or this:  Kennedi Mae, Kyra Mae and Kimora Mae, or this family: Sadie, Seth, Siara and Seila
Who knew the ward directory could be so much fun to read?

What in the world do some parents THINK when they are naming their children!! Those names are crazy!! Kayla and Kaila? Are you kidding me? Sounds like they needed some creativity!!

So, there is a girl in my class named Heather Heath. At least mine isn't the only one that has the same first and last name!!!
That is weird, though. Crazy!

Whoa! Those are interesting names, indeed. I think the long middle name is probably really pretty, but who could ever remember it?

If you speak Hawaiian you could remember it because it is a sentence which means something like "The breath of Life"........:)

My two students with "fun-ny" names are Rosie Roller and Joy Hui (Hui rhymes with Joy)

Kristen, how funny that you have a Heather Heath. Summer and Dylan's mom was Heather Heath until she married Lance.
