Hooray for gas prices being so low! Almost makes you feel like you could take a trip or buy groceries again or something. I'm waiting for orange juice to not be $4 a gallon anymore...
Don't you love that? It's $1.89 or so here, and we are thrilled! If I go to the grocery store to buy "a few more items," I spend $100! When I "get groceries for the week," ouch!
Merilee that is amazing-- our monthly groceries are over $300, and we don't eat fancy food! Our local food co-op would be ok, except that they do a lot of fish (which we don't love) and a lot of weird veggies (like eggplant, and what are you supposed to do with 6 eggplant?) What we really need to do is buy another quarter of a cow. That lasted us about a year and a half. :)

WOAH!!!! That makes it almost affordable to drive!!! Sweet. We were pretty amazed that it was $1.59 here.

Sara-- too bad you don't have gleaners. My monthly grocery shopping is $100-- then about $50 the other 3 weeks for "get a few things." LOVE IT!!
Gas is $1.69 here. I am thrilled. I feel like I can spend $60 at the grocery store instead of only $50!!
