I read a chapter of The Outsiders out loud in first period, and then a chapter from the life of Fredrick Douglass out loud in the next class (the class was supposed to read it, but they are all such poor readers they asked me to read it for them) [They had to write response papers afterward], Plus, I talked a lot besides, plus I have to talk a little extra loud, as the classes are NEVER quiet---by lunch my voice was nearly gone.
Today I ran 1/2 mile and walked 1/2 mile. I don't know if my knees/ankles are going to make it. I still am going to go for the mile........pain or not. Someone gave me a brand new pair of tennis shoes today. Hurrah! I made quiche for dinner. I am losing AGAIN at Scrabble....I have 16 days worth of things to do this Saturday. I think I need a nap :). It is hot. Annie and Michael just stopped by for a drive by visit (come out to the car and say "Hi" cause we don't want to get the kids out of their carseats......). Someone paid for their dinner at the resteraunt for them. Fun. Dad is watching basketball.....he wants the Jazz to lose. I guess that is my life.

Careful of your feet! You don't want to end up in a wheelchair. Is biking any easier on them? I found that to be the case with my feet problems. It was funny. I showed up to class with crutches one day. The next day I brought my unicycle.
Having 16 days worth of things to do sounds familiar! That was what yesterday was like. I got done with the essential stuff. :)
I know what it's like to read and read and read! Joshua likes "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb" so much that he asks for the "thumb story" about ten times in a row!
Andrew taught me to speak at a higher pitch when reading so I don't wear out my voice. It takes effort and feels a little funny, but it does work and is better for you.
I am currently watching the Music and the Spoken Word broadcast that was done on Mother's Day. It's very touching -- cute films of mothers with their children. You can see it at www.byu.tv if you didn't get a chance to watch it on Sunday.
I love you! Thanks for being a great mother to us!
I have used the talking at a higher pitch to keep my voice from going away. It works well! I tend to get a crackly voice when it's late at night and I am tired. Annoying, but oh well!
I hope you got everything you needed to done today. My day was pretty busy, but I also had time to read a lot, too. Yay!! I like books.
