Cleaning Sealander Farm

I went to help out at Sealander farm, so it could be ready to sell.  Mom and Jalna already had the houses nice.....and were working on the outbuildings.  My cousin had not thrown anything away for 40 years.  Too bad he didn't save anything that was worth saving.  No treasures among the junk.........just junk!  It was a fun, though messy, smelly and tiring two days.
I always liked the Lava Rock Man that greeted you when you came to Sealander farm (and the lava rock home behind!)
We removed these barrels from the barn, also other random metal
I dragged out and stacked the pallets, getting them ready to burn
Mom, Jalna and I emptied all these sacks that were filled with moldy grain

There was wood everywhere that we put in stacks and piles, read to haul away for firewood, or just to burn

We made piles everywhere.  Here is a pile of  metal that we stacked.  We hauled one load of metal away.  I wish I had taken a picture of the PILES of twine we made, to be taken and burned.

We piled this trailer several times, getting ready to have it hauled to burn

Another load.

Wow. I'm tired just looking at it.
