Poor Me
For the last few days my eyes have really, really hurt. Not like pain in the eyes, but more like eye strain to see. I haven't been able to transition from seeing close to far to computer, etc. They water and water. Last night it was such a relief to finally go to bed......I was even getting dizzy. This morning, everything was blurry. It was no fun. I called the eye Dr....thinking that I was going blind or something. I have a 'raging' bacterial infection in my eyes, so will be on erythromician cream for the next 14 days. He said, "Only put it in before you go to bed, because it will make it so you can't see at all."
I was so relieved that that was all it was.......but I can't wait until tonight to close my eyes again (not that I have had them open much today!")
I had so much to do today, but it didn't and isn't going to get done.

Mer-here's the recipe you wanted
Sara's "Mancatchers"
1 T yeast
2 T sugar
1/2 t salt
1 1/2 c warm water3-4 c flour
1/2 c butter--melted
parmesan, garlic, or other seasoning for top (cinnamon/sugar.....or plain!)
Mix yest, sugar, salt and water and let sit 10 min. Add minimal amount of flour and mix just until dough doesn't stick to your fingers. Heat oven to 375. Spread dough in greased 9 by 13 pan. Pour melted butter on top, cut into breadsticks, and top with whatever. Let rise 10 min. Bake for 20 min or so until golden. Heavenly!! (Great with garlic and parmesan, or Mrs. Dash's) Great plain......You only need to start these less than 1 hour before dinner to have fresh bread with dinner, which is nice!

No Picture
I wanted to take a picture, but I didn't want Brennan to think he was 'cute' (which he is), or that what he did was funny.....which it was.....so I didn't grab my camera. However, look on Annie's blog with the Vaseline. Subract the bedroom and the Vaseline. Add my kitchen, Crisco, a funnel, and 250 straws.........You get the picture!!
Just as we discovered Brennan......Cade walks out of my bathroom holding the container of Vaseline!!! Luckily he just wanted some on his lips and nose cause he has a cold, and he was asking permission!!

Well, so far our mouse traps haven't worked, but dad said, "That is OK, because you ran over and squished a mouse this morning on your way to work."
