Here is grandpa, the lunchen is over, and the gym is about clean, and we are about ready to leave for home.....I got safely home about 10:00 pm.
I only took two photo's at the funeral yesterday....this one of mom and my aunt Edith and grandpa walking into the church for the luncheon. It was a whopping 24 degrees outside. That made the graveside part rather chilly. They had a 21 gun salute, which was nice, as he was a Korean War vet. The funeral was lovely.......and my Uncle Karl one of the most handsome of men. I wanted to take pictures of a lot of the extended family, but I don't love people taking pictures at a funeral, seems too sacred for a photo.

Can't believe how frail/old Dale looks. Regardless of the time that has passed, he sure is a handsome, classy guy!

I was thinking the same of Grandpa. I haven't seen them in a while. I was just thinking the other day that it has been almost a year since his near-death experience. He is quite an amazing man.

Yup...they are driving down to Utah to fly out to some mid-west state for the Farmer of the year convention....after the convention/illness of last year, I didn't think they would every go anywhere again....but go they do, almost every day--up cleaning Aunt Edith's house, or helping with this or that. Dale is a lot thinner than usually, but still has a lot of get up and go, and gets around amazingly well.
I stick them on a plane in the morning!! Hope this is a much happier/healthier trip for them.

Oops, the last comment was from me, Mom, not Lisa.....I was still signed up on her account so that I could put her birthday pictures on her blog. Someone needs to be nice and 'hook' that girl up with some at home internet.....The schools just don't pay enough to make it affordable.
