A perfect day :)

First I took Lisa's picture while we were going up the chairlift, then she took mine. We each only wore one glove, and our T shirts. It was hot! (60 degrees) Beautiful day. And my boots didn't hurt this time, so it wasn't painful like last time. Great afternoon!! {Ski rentals for the both of us only cost $21!! The lift is free!}

Lisa made it 2 out of 3 off the chair lift without falling. I did the opposite!

A gorgeous day. If we didn't want to waste a minute we would have ditched our coats in the car. We just tied them round the tummy instead.

You know you're a bad grandma when.............

a) Your grandson is on the phone with his mom saying, "Grandma gave me Cheetoes and chocolate milk for breakfast."
b) You push the cart into the bathroom at the store which has a clear sign posted "No Carts", because you don't think you can hold a baby and 'do your duty' at the same time.
c) You buy a new toy to give you 5 minutes of 'down time'.
d) You are tired before lunch, during lunch, after lunch.
e) You have a terrible time negotiating car seats.

But, you know you are not so bad when you love them every second of the day (I just heard EmmaRay's lunch dish go splatting on the floor.........) Bye.

Made it.
This was her first time down the bunny hill. Skis, and ski boots in particular, feel awkward, so the first attempt was more awkward and getting used to things. We went up the chair lift twice. First time it took us 45 minutes to get down the mountain (but it was a 15 minute ride up!), and the second time it took just 1/2 hour. Should have gotten out the camera then.......Lisa was swooshing down!!! Me, too. Well, I won't be able to walk tomorrow (really hurts my knees), but it was SO much fun. We're going once more this winter!!!
